Continuing on, we wander through Avenida dos Aliados, the city’s central avenue lined with neoclassical buildings. Visit the charming São Bento Railway Station, known for its azulejo-tiled exterior and learn about the stories depicted in its murals. Our tour concludes with a walk through Bolhão Market and Rua de Santa Catarina.

Discover Alicante and Elche on this half day shore excursion. We start with a short drive to the city centre where we enjoy a guided walk through Alicante's old quarter. Hear about the city's heritage, local traditions, and landmarks from our local guide. There is an opportunity here to visit a local tapas bar to enjoy refreshments (own expense). We then take a scenic to drive to the town of Elche to visit Huerto Del Cura Palm, a beautiful botanical garden home to over 1000 palm trees, a wide variety of Mediterranean and tropical plants, incredible water features and the Imperial Palm, a unique palm with 7 branches growing from a single trunk, named after Empress Elisabeth of Austria.
