Visit the highlands of Scotland on a shore excursion from Invergordon. We begin with a drive to Cawdor Castle. Dating back to the 14th century, the castle impresses with its fairytale architecture and gardens and is famously linked to Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”. We continue on to Loch Ness, the residence of the mythical (or not?) Loch Ness Monster. Keep an eye out for Nessie as we stop for photos of the famous and beautiful Loch. We then drive to the Butt of Lewis, a red brick lighthouse built in 1862 by the Stevenson brothers. Take in marvellous views of the sea and the lighthouses exterior, and be sure to take photos before we return to Stornoway.
