Athens Shore Excursion: Acropolis & City Tour from Piraeus Port 20th September

Discover the highlights of Athens on this shore excursion. We head to the sacred hill of the Acropolis to explore its various monuments, and take in the wonderful view from the Parthenon. We then drive by the Temple of Zeus and visit the Panathenaic Stadium, home of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, before continuing to Lycabettus Hill for a panoramic view of the city. Pass through Kolonaki on your way to Syntagma Square to see the Changing of the Guard at the Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Our final visit is to the New Acropolis Museum and the Ancient Agora.

Discover Dubrovnik on this guided shore excursion. Travel to Dubrovnik Bridge and stop to take in panoramic views of Gruž Harbor, Lapad Peninsula, and nearby islands. Explore the hidden spring of the Ombla River and visit the 15th-century ruins of poet Marin Držić’s summer residence. Ascend Mt. Srđ for breathtaking views of the Old Town, Lokrum Island, and Cavtat, with a quick break to learn about Fort Imperial’s history. Descend to the Old Town for a guided walking tour from Pile Gate, passing the Great Onofrio Fountain, Franciscan Monastery, Dominican Monastery, St. Blaise Church, and the Old Port.
