Our tour starts as we head to the Agia Triada Tzagaroli Monastery, a Byzantine structure home to a library full of rare books and a museum stocked with fascinating icons, codices, and more. There is an opportunity here to purchase local wine and olive oil produced by the monks. We continue for a short photo stop in Venizelos, providing stunning views over Chania Bay. We reach Chania's old town and explore its crumbling harbour and 15th century lighthouse. Meander through colorful neighborhoods and visit important sites such as the Archaeological Museum, the Cathedral, the Leather Lane, the Market Hall, and other hidden gems.
