Stornoway – Isle of Lewis 17th August

Visit the Isle of Lewis on this half day tour. We start with a drive to the northern tip of the Isle, and visit the charming Port Ness, home to the highest percentage of Gaelic speakers in the country. Admire the local art themed around the Port's seafarers before we continue to St Moluag Church. Explore the historic t-shaped building, once a pilgrimage destination for those seeking healing. We then drive to the Butt of Lewis, a red brick lighthouse built in 1862 by the Stevenson brothers. Take in marvellous views of the sea and the lighthouses exterior, and be sure to take photos before we return to Stornoway.

Edinburgh 24th August

Enjoy a guided shore excursion of Edinburgh with a visit to the Palace of Holyrood House, a historic tour and site seeing opportunity at Edinburgh Castle (optional) and drive by viewing of the Royal Yacht Britannia. Take a stroll down the Royal Mile, explore the centuries old St Giles Cathedral and see the Scottish Houses of Parliament.

Invergordon Shore Excursion Loch Ness, Distillery and Castles 26th August

Visit the highlands of Scotland on a shore excursion from Invergordon. We begin with a drive to Cawdor Castle. Dating back to the 14th century, the castle impresses with its fairytale architecture and gardens and is famously linked to Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”. We continue on to Loch Ness, the residence of the mythical (or not?) Loch Ness Monster. Keep an eye out for Nessie as we stop for photos of the famous and beautiful Loch. We also visit a local Whiskey Distillery for a complementary tasting.

Belfast 28th August

Experience a guided shore excursion of Belfast with a photo stop at Dunluce Castle and the expansive Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Step foot on the famous Giant's Causeway, one of the most unique places in the British Isles, before heading into the village of Balleycastle to enjoy a delicious Northern Irish lunch (own expense).

Glasgow 29th August

Explore Scotland with us, starting with Stirling Castle. Sat atop a crag above the river Forth, this historic castle was home to generations of Scottish monarchs, including Mary Queen of Scots. Take a moment to wander the castle grounds, and be sure to take photos! From there we proceed to Aberfoyle Visit Scotland centre, and stop at the village for lunch. Once you've had time to explore, it's off to the famous Loch Lomond, granting you a fantastic photo opportunity at one of Scotland's largest lochs.

Liverpool – N. Wales Explorer 31st August
Discover Wales on a shore excursion from Liverpool. Travel through Cheshire and North Wales, enjoying coastal roads and views of the Irish Sea. Visit Conwy, home to Conwy Castle, one of the world’s finest medieval fortresses. Explore the castle or stroll the charming town streets. Continue into Snowdonia National Park, with its breathtaking mountains and valleys, and stop at the picturesque village of Betws-Y-Coed, famous for its shops and eateries. On your return, admire the wild beauty of the Denbigh Moors, glimpse the 12th-century Denbigh Castle, and see Britain’s smallest cathedral in St. Asaph.
