Our guide will lead you through The Broch of Gurness, a drystone building dating back to around 200BC, and tell what has been learned of this ancient structure and its old inhabitants since its unearthing in 1929. We then head to the centre of Orkney to view the stunning Ring of Brodgar, a landmark dating back to the early Bronze Age. Your guide will discuss possible theories about these ancient standing stones, and those like them across Britain.
