Discover the Atlantic Ocean Road and the fishing village of Bud on a guided tour from Kristiansand. See the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel, drive along the coast, and visit the delightful village of Bud.

You will begin your tour by meeting your English Speaking Guide at the Port and heading towards an open-air museum, Vest Agder Cultural Heritage Museum, you will learn about all of the 30 houses that have been re-erected here and the area, which is divided into 4 sections, which gives you a close insight to the museum and it's various districts. As you leave the museum, you will now have a panoramic drive towards the suburb area of the City and the famous village of Soegne.


As you make your way through Soegne, you will pass by the lovely church, Soegne Gamle Kirke, which is a beautiful parish church and it is located in the southern part of the village, Tangvall. You will now have a scenic drive towards Hoellen, where you will have the chance to stroll through one of the old streets lined with beautiful wooden houses of Norway. Ensure you bring your camera for some great pictures!


Drive back to the main town in Kristiansand by the coastal road, passing by the idyllic summer cottages along the way. As you reach the main point in Kristiansand, you will head towards Kristiansaand Domkirke, for a guided visit inside. Your guide at hand will answer all of your questions you may have.


You will now head towards the market place, known as Torvet, where you will continue you tour down to the shopping street. You will end up by the seaside, where you can enjoy a spectacular view over the marina as you walk along the coastline, where you will come to the local fish market to see the wide variety of seafood on display. As your tour is coming to an end your final stop is the new concert house, known as "Kilden", a remarkable display in modern time architecture, design and technology”. The Kilden concert hall is not new as it opened in 2012. However, the architecture is special as described.

The Kunstsilo Art museum next door is also spectacular, and it’s free to enter the ground floor to marvel at the architectural structure.



You will now sit back and relax back on your panoramic drive back to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
